Can Halos with Weisslicht LED Overheat?

Never seen this before but my situation tonight was 2 hours in basically stop and go idling through the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Speedway Christmas Lights display.

After an hour sitting in traffic getting in, the halos shut down and the check side lights hot check warning came on. Turned off the lights for about 2 minutes and turned them back on and halos were on and hot check message disappeared. 5 minutes later, same thing but still just going about 1 to 2 MPH. Let them cool for 1/2 hour and all good for the next 15 minutes through the drive and then 1/2 hour home. It seems like heat to me. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Caught myself in this moment of the parade and couldn't resist. Ha, yeah I was "that guy" :nanana:

I haven't had any issues with mine overheating on me that I know of. But I have all bulb monitoring with the halo's turned off via coding so it wouldn't know if they were having issues or not :)

I've had mine in since August and haven't had any issues with mine either

Yeah me either but I have never been basically stopped for over an hour with the lights on and engine running. I took a 2 1/2 hour drive each way with the Mrs. up to Asheville to the Biltmore Estate just a few days ago and nothing was wrong. I think it was heat soaking with engine running and lights on but no air moving around like being at 30+ MPH. It is the first time I have ever had this issue and my Weisslicht LED halo bulbs have been installed for years. Everything is fine now. Weird! :dunno:
