Reverse Camera Install 4.4 E53
 

Folks, I am new to BMW and just picked up a 2002 E53 4.4. I want to put a reverse camera in and connect to widescreen factory nav screen.

1. Can this be done
2. Has anyone got a PDF that can step me through this
3. Any recommendations on camera & fittings

I am in Australia. Car is fitted with Sat Nav.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

To have a backup camera with the factory nav requires either the television module or an aftermarket unit that adds the feature. I looked into this before I bought my aftermarket radio and it wasn't cost effective for me to do.
