coolent hose keep busting

Getting fustrated working on my 2002 bmw x5 4.4i. I had a heater core hose blew out on me about a month ago the one that run to the back of the head .. But after a week of replace that hose I had a leak around the coolent temperature sensor the one that's on the radiator.. When I fixed the sensor leak I also decided to replace the thermostat and water pump even tho I never had a over heating issue. Even after changing all of that a few days later the heater core started to leak soaking the carpet.. 4 days days after fixing the heater core itself and replacing the heater control valve I got another leak but I haven't gotten the time to look where the water is dripping from under the car (fluid tank empty).. sorry for the bad Grammer I just need advice on where to look

Hello, those m62 can be a mess with the coolant leaks......really if You are going to do a DYI....read up on them........most likely it your valley pan pipe going through your exhaust manifold.....

Its a good idea to go ahead and change all of the coolant hoses instead of piece meaning it. These X5s have soft hoses that deteriate very rapidly and creates a nightmare of chasing down leaks. Change every last one and re establish piece of mind.

I have read looked around the whole Internet trying figure this out even re-reading re-watching the same videos a dozen time.. I got a chance yesterday to see what the problem was and come to find out the heater core hose that connect to the heater control valve blew out from the firewall. I wonder why everything connected to the heater control valve keep messing up smh lost on what to check... I want to add that my heater inside the car dosnt work as well seem like the climate control just stays on sometime draining my battery to where I need a jump.. the battery is only 3 months old

I'm thinking about replacing the rest of the hoses but seeing how expensive they are I'm holding out on doing that for the moment... piece of mind sounds great if it fix the problem but it would hurt if it didn't fix the problem

Did you ever flush the cooling system? Your car is 16 years old and if you haven't done any type of maintenance on it other than replace the oil you need to start a maintenance program. I'm sure the owner manual (You did read the owner manual) have specific maintenance item that should be addressed at certain time and mileage.

I have done the regular maintenance on the car threw the years ....I also flush the radiator in the past and I did bleed the system everytime I replaced a hose and when I did the water pump and thermostat..The car has a electric water pump so I just step on the gas pedal for over 10 sec till the pump come on and I let it run for 15- 20 min.. Can a defected heater control valve cause the hoses to keep busting? I replace the valve but I wonder if it's defected..
