What does dibbs mean?

I'm rough on my car I go through brush and through fire trails any chance I get. The aluminum plate is great but it's "protected" by a piece of plastic.

Unfortunately for me I suspect a pretty easy install. I would bet it comes with longer bolts to replace the ones that hold on the aluminum structural plate under the engine and will take less than an hour to install.
