4.8is First start of the day and I get......

This started suddenly - one day fine, next day not good.

When I start the car first time of that day. I get the Suspension Inactive with The Tyre Pressure Light and Limit 35MPH. If I wait a minute with the engine running, switch off and on again then all is good and harmony is restored, until the next day.

Any clues.

The Suspension Compressor has just been rebuilt with no issues since then.

It is like the car is detecting a ow voltage on first startup. I have a brand new battery and the Alternator is pushing out 13.9vdc with the engine ticking over.

Strange enough I had the same thing happen to me except it would happen every 3-4 days. Everything looked fine but error message would come up. I kept resetting and after a month it never came back. I have an 06 4.8is

Isnt 13.9V considered low for the alternator?

These warnings indicate an issue with the rear suspension. The 35MPH warning only appears when the car's rear is too low. Perhaps a sensor issue if there is no visible deflation of either airbag? If you scan the car you'd bee able to narrow it down though.

Thank you all. Tonight I can see that the left rear corner is sitting high (max height) with the other three corners all okay. Any clues what would cause this? By resetting it on the ignition it was fine. Then when I was filling up with petrol, it raised that corner all on its own, engine off, keys out, doors closed and it just lifted up on that one corner. Now it does not eat to come back down.

That's the sensor acting up for sure then.

Thank you. I have a flap with a blue sensor in the back of the rear arch. Is this it? Or do I need to look somewhere else please?

Has anybody ever removed one of these sensors from their car?

Had it up on a ramp and can clearly see the sensor but, failed completely to remove it or the wiring connector?

Wiggling the connector clears the fault, which returns after about 30 minutes of driving. This makes me think it is a dirty connection rather than a failed sensor. But I would like to remove both, inspect & clean before doing anything else. Not good that I cannot see a way to remove either?
