Has anyone tried the Vanos kit from x8r?
Hi,
This is my first post, this forum seems great and i'll sure use it alot in the future. I've just bought an E53 3.0i 2001 which seems to be a bigger project than i first thought  I've just updated some suspension parts, and I just love how it feels to drive. Now I'm thinking about doing the vanos, it has 260' km and it seems like a ok job. Searching around the internet I have seen the Beisan kit and some really cheap stuff from Hong Kong  The Beisan kit seems good though, but I came across a kit from x8r here i Europe. Has anyone tried this kit? If so, is it any good? https://x8r.co.uk/products/bmw/bmw-vanos-repair-kits Cheers |

I've done the besian vanos it's perfect I wouldn't mess with success. There is one step where I greatly improved on the process of installing a replacement seal but I wouldn't Cindy consider another brand

Beisan or Dr. Vanos, there are no other quality options.

Did the Beisan myself. Relatively easy job.
