SOLVED Mirror NOT Folding
 

Been an issue since I acquired the vehicle last year. Researched the issue and went in today. Turns out the metal clip separate from micro switch on the passenger side. Simply clipped it back in place and voilà!

Mine was the same when I got it. I dealt to it pretty quickly after my purchase, as it bugged my CDO (that's OCD, in alphabetical order, as it should be...). :bustingup

What was your symptom? Both of mine fold in but then after a few moments the passenger side one unfolds then the drivers.

Same symptoms. Mine will actually fold back out almost instantly.

OK I took my passenger side one apart and put the clip looked fine. I didn’t try the driver side one I wonder if that’s the one that screwed up

Started the other way around. Passenger side was faulty. In my case I suspected driver side because it got hit a lot in/out garage but I guess silent ones are the most dangerous [emoji3].

Same here - one faulty switch screwed up both mirrors.

Check both sides. You can't tell which side it is and Sod's Law states that you will open up the wrong one first.... :confused:
