I haven't looked and wouldn't swear to this but I believe it is similar to the Windows it simply senses the pressure on the unit or load at the motor and stops. Again - don't know that for fact, just speculating based on what little bit I do know. Sent from my iPhone using Xoutpost.com |
If it rolls open not closed the safety sensor is your go-to problem. Mine will refuse to close some times when it's cold and the effort is too high. I'm not sure if the safety system uses a pressure bar like the windows or something more elegant like a current measurement of the motor

Does anyone know which pins are positive and negative going into the motor? Managed to remove it. Want to test if there is any voltages going to it.

I'm sure it flips to reverse. Voltmeter doesn't care it will just display negative value if red is negative.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's current load on the motor... I've had mine hang before, cranked it back by hand, and a little grease on the track solved he problem. Seems to be resistance based. Sent from my iPhone using Xoutpost.com |
