N62 Alternator bracket gasket...
 

Anyone know whether you need to drain the oil before removing the bracket? Haven't seen mention of it in the DIYs - so assume it sits above the level of the sump??

Virtyally any and all oil that could possibly come through that bracket is in your garage or driveway. :-)

Ha! So nothing more will come out with the bracket removed?

i didnt drain the oil when i did mine. there was a slight drip coming from the oil cooler lines for approx 10 min, had to top off the oil when it was all done.
