Euro to US ?
 

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to find out if bringing my euro spec 2005 X5 4.8iS to the US is doable and worth the hassle without major mods?

I have (as far as I can tell) the only Alpine White custom ordered around and if I bring it back I wanted to try and raffle it off or sell it for the Wounded EOD Warrior foundation. Any info on import problems/issues and whether you all think that there'd be any interest in owning the "only" factory white in the US helps or hurts chances, etc... :dunno:

Unless you are looking to maintain and transfer a BMW warranty you should be ok. I know a friend who had warranty on his 2 year old car at time of move, and BMW NA will NOT work on the Vehicle until it was fully converted to US specifications for liability purposes. You should contact a US based dealership to confirm.

Thanks but a warranty is one thing my X doesn't have and the one thing I wish it had... LoL
