The magnetic pickup that the ABS sensors use are located within the wheel bearing. Perhaps the driveshaft being seized within the old bearing, and the resulting hammering caused the magnetic strips within the bearing to fail, causing the trifecta?
Are you getting ABS engagement? I have two new front wheel bearings to install since I get ABS engagement at low speeds. To date, I have changed both front sensors, swapped them left to right and vice versa, a rebuild DSC module, brake pressure switch, and hours of diagnosis... the bearings are the last part of the puzzle and I am hoping it will solve my ABS engagement issues. |
