ISTA P failure on self leveling calibration
 

while programming with ISTA-p Icom c cable disconnected and threw off calibration procedure, unfortunately I am a creature of auto run features and can’t get back to that particular session and now I have “SELF LEVELING SUSPENSION INACT” on my dash. Any help would be Greatly! appreciated!

Also went through the coding process with ehh and low modules and calibration never came up again

I would try to put into transport mode and back out.

Good idea, I’ll try that tomorrow. I’ve sweat enough today, I still don’t know what combination enacted the calibration

I did enable Zenons in the first programming session, Yes this x5 was pretty messed up when I got it, had these “Terminator” aftermarket lights in it with harnesses butchered

UPDATE: even though wired for xenon, I noticed a fault for lwr module while diagnosing this morning so I went to check harness and wiring health and found no lwr module. Due to the fact that I had no knowledge of the original headlights, I assumed because it had the stepper motor connections it probably had level sensing xenon headlights. That’s what I get for assuming. Guess these were prewired for leveling system.

So enabling zenons required rear axle calibration for lwr module so now that it recognizes no lwr module, system is faulty therefore self leveling system is inactive. I hope!

Does anyone know if a used LWR module can be coded? Found an LWR III online was wondering if it will work this x5 has a production date of 12/99
