Rims for Trade
 

I have a set of Black powder coated ZHP rims that I am willing to trade. they are 18/8 two fronts and 18/8.5 two rears. Standard staggered ZHP setup.

I want a set of Style 85's for e53 x5 3.0i but post up what you got.

The image you are showing of the X5 are style 87. Is that what you mean or is that the wheels on your X now?

I have a set of style 135 ZHP wheels on my E46 and 20" style 87's on my 3.0 X. Great choice.

Make sure to budget for the 4.8 rear bumper and flares if you go 20" style 87. :thumbup:

Slightly off topic ... your pillar trim looks great. My 3.0i has matte black anodized trim, it looks like crap and is covered in fingerprints that I cant get off. Did you paint yours, or shadowline, or covers?

I suspect you are seeing the difference between the non-sport/premium matte finish and the sport package/premium glossy black window and pillar trim.

So you are aware, this is a style 85. I don't think you'll find them in E53 sizes.

Without purposely trying to hijack this thread. I believe he was referring to RT pillar trim in glossy vs matte. My fender and running board trim is terribly faded where his looks new. I have glossy upper pillars already.

Yes, indeed. I have the ZSP sports package and the pillars, window trim and mirror bases are glossy black. :thumbup:

The rear fender flares and rear bumper extensions are new. I bought them from the stealership when I retrofitted the 4.8 rear bumper. The running boards are original and nearly 15 years old now. I do have the luxury of garaging my cars so the plastic bits are never really exposed to the elements 24/7. I recommend Aerospace 303 protectant however, I use it on my trim and plastic in the engine compartment. Leaves a satin, not shiny finish and has UV protection.

20" Style 87's are on the cheap rt now. No 20x10's, but you can pick up a new square set of 9.5's for right at $700.
