G05 - Body Style
 

I love the interior of the G05. So so sure about the exterior. The trim on the rear bumper is hideous but maybe it might change my POV when I see it in person. In reality, I was never even fond of the E53 rear...but it grew on me.

The same thing has happened to my own rear during 18 years of E53 ownership. :spank:

Been toying with the config. Added the dynamic handling. Man, call me old fashioned or just growing old. I would actually prefer to not have the ///M stickers on the calipers when choosing this package.

I see some of the older OG's over at that other relevant X forum. In reality, probably more like the 50i in 2020 with the newer 8 and XDrive. If one starts adding how much I spend on the 53, the logic doesn't make sense@ times......

Eeks on the spend on base for leatherette - pre leather options.
I'm actually not in disagreement. Especially for a 6 seater and it's given potential of use. IMO leather-ettteeee wears better than leather.

It's not considered a premium material, but for the non-discening textile whore leatherette will take kiddo abuse more IMO

It looks awfully generic, not as bad as an audi Q7, but they will have no problem selling them. This will ride a whole lot better than an Escalade or Navigator (which is body on frame vs BMW unibody) and way more advanced then a Lexus LX. So it looks like Mercedes and BMW will own the space of the large Luxury 3-row SUVs.

I've been waiting to see what Roundel comes out with on a 7 seater for a loong time. In between that time, I've looked at other 6/7 seaters. Yuck. So I decided literally a week ago, we're going with the G05 but in 2020 trim with the newer X drive and newer 8 engine. Then the 7 news just came like 2 days ago. I'm still on the G05 train.
