Just bought a X5 4.4i.... mod bug already bite me

Hey everyone,

I recently picked up a 2006 BMW X5 4.4i and have loved the vehicle from day one. I used to have a 2002 4.4i but sold it back in 2003 when i purchased my house. Thought it was time to buy another one :)

So i've upgraded the wheels to a set of 22" wheels and tires and ordered the Remus Exhaust for it already. I'm looking to swap out the intake system next. I had the Dinan Intake on my 2002 and really liked it, but im kinda  about shelling out 699.00 for it again. Is there any other good intake systems out there for this vehicle or possibly anywhere i can get the Dinan Intake for slightly less than full retail?

Man you are a few days/week too late. ricky.agrawal arranged a group buy for the AFE intake, $74 off for the V8 system. I have the 3.0, but supposedly this intake is pretty good...hopefully it will be coming this week!

Ohhh ya and post pics of the 22's

How much was the intake system?

Nice. I used to have Antera type 309 20" on my previous X5.

The Dinan intake isn't out yet... Dinan told me that their revised eta is this month, but they do seem to be backed-up on everything

I've been waiting nearly two yrs for Dinan intake (S2 package) but I give up and got the AFE instead.

AFE is better anyway!
