Torque App - extra PIDs / readouts

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can find and add any extra or BMW-specific PIDs or readouts to my Torque app? I have just the cheap bluetooth OBD2 adapter, but it seems like the default measurements that Torque comes with don't have very many active data streams for me to display. Just wondering if there was any way to add some specific BMW ones or e53-specific ones.

Thanks!

I was trying to get into trying the torque app, haven't yet(long story) but I noticed you need to get the Torque pro (paid) version to get most of the features.

Upallnight is an experienced Torque user. Might want to send PM. The paid version is the one to have. It is an app on my Android based audio unit. I use it to display gauges I want to view and sometimes live data.

I find Torque rubbish compared to other/better options

What are you using ?

What do you want to know?

What app are you using that is better than Torque ?

Another popular one is OBD Fusion. It has some nice logging features for troubleshooting. I have both Torque Pro and OBD Fusion, but Torque Pro is my first "go-to" for simple OBDII channel readings or code identifying/clearing.

No, what task are you wanting to achieve?

No, what task wouldn't it do or did so poorly that caused you to decide it is rubbish?

I use torque for gauges and realtime info on nav screen and because it is a wireless connection. I use Schwaben by Foxwell for code reading and also realtime info when doing work in the garage. Sometimes I still use the Bavarian Autosport code reader as a double check for codes but the Shwaben is intuitive and first choice for non driving situations.

what is your preference?
