WorldPac Access

OT. But for the stuff we get on FCP, AZ, ECS, etc......and how we look at parts that pull up. OE, OEM.

Be kUrious for those that have access, seen or are familiar with WorldPac. Is it like Pandora's box with MUCH much more offerings.

The only thing I can say I've seen it once, on a Indy level where he ordered a part and WP came delivering same day/in a very short time frame

(I have no idea how WP is aside from the fact I know it's Indy level parts distribution/purchasing)

I'm pretty sure that Advance Auto Parts bought General Parts Inc (WorldPac, CarQuest) back in 2013 for $2.04 Billion.

I'm done now - just got OCD obsessed on a certain OEM like equivalent that did not seem to exist much anywhere. Was curious if Worldpac was like this mega book of options - for those Indys.

FCP Euro and ECS Tuning are my go to's...

off the record

*cp declined to add the Febi trans shock mount to their catalog. They said it was inferior in quality and after consideration and looking into it, they decided not to

Whether or not that was a accurate answer on their part or not
All the other parts places have this.
For the most part , I actually thought for a long time all these parts places used the same underlying dropshippers/fulfillment backend inventory channels.

Just the frontend website, etc was the monkier

The part in the OP was not in regards to that though. OEM of the OE Center Support Bearing

Loved Worldpac when I had access to it in my shop. It was even cheaper than the wholesale discount I get from ECS. Plenty of OEM brands available; I got Lemforder control arms for my E36 for $60/pc.

If your indy is nice, you may be able to purchase from him using his Worldpac account. He might only charge 25% more than his cost, and it will match online pricing without paying shipping.

Worldpac sells to FCP, autohausaz, and some repair shops.
They do not sell to you and me.
