oil temperature sensor?
 

can anyone tell me where this is located on a 2003 4.4i ?

On the 3.0 L it's built into the oil level sensor that bolts into the bottom of the pan. Maybe someone with a v8 can chime in.

You'll see that the oil temp sensor is listed as B6238 in the schematic. It also has a built-in link that you can click on and it will explode into an image that shows exactly where the sensor is located.

I just saw your later replies over on the other forum...I recommend the same thing. Click one of the TIS links I gave above and start over (click the HOME link) and enter the last 7 digits of your VIN.


Then type OIL TEMP SENSOR in the search box and look for links that will take you to it's location. In my search I did a generic search for LHD since we don't have any of your vehicles information (like the VIN). :)
