New 3.0d airflow metre on my 2001 e53

I've just picked up a new bosch airflow metre and having a look at it, the inside sensor part that can be removed, says i2s Germany? Is this correct?
I've never seen this name before on bosch things.

Looks like a relatively new company that is apparently making sub systems for Bosch.

I did a bit of digging and found only good things about them. Been around for 15 years.
