Ebay fiberglass flares - Installation

Looking for some info on how the installation process is like for the fiberglass flares that are sold on ebay. I've seen some people mention them installing it on their cars on this forum, but without any good info/tips on how they actually went about it.

The few people I have PMed in the past said they used BMW betalink adhesive and screws from the inside of the arches/bumper. Some used both, some just used screws.

I have no first hand knowledge, nor have I seen them in person.

Curious to know in case something happens to my oe flares.

Being fiberglass and from past experience with fiberglass parts (a lot mustang parts come in fg) they have no give so if they don't fit right a lot of body work is required.

I just took a look at a listing, they don't show the back, most fg pieces are molded over something meaning the back would have no 90 degree to be mounting from the back side.

I would ask for pictures of the back first.

Here is a picture of the back. Your assumption is correct. These would take a bit of work to mount properly as they are hollow inside. I would use betalink after checking fitment and assuring there was enough surface area to grab. If not... I'd add fiberglass. :( Lots of work.
