ticking noise from engine

The ticking noise comes and goes every few minutes and lasts for a couple of minutes each time. In the video you can hear when the noise stops near the end of the video. It is coming from left side of engine (UK passenger side)

It sounds like the tank breather valve. That's located on the front left of the engine.

Seeing that your engine is a V8 could be a chain guide rattle. Should look into it ASAP, or else dump the X ASAP.
