Anyone actually ran 235/55/17?
 

A set of E83 wheels with 235/55/17 studded iPikes popped up locally for a song. I have some A/T tires on my X, but it would be nice to have studs for winter since we get a ton of snow and sometimes ice here.



Just curious, I know the speedo will be off, but if I run all four the same size there wont be any danger to the diffs. What I'm curious about is whether anyone has done this and if it looks awkward due to the shorter tires. Anyone?

60s is an approved alternate other than losing ground clearance 55s should be fine. 235 beastly traction on snow. I have a set in 235/60/18 I think. Bonus of more acceleration off the line
