searched everywhere but still no answer
 

Hi and thanks for any help, i have a 2005 X5 and the interior lights keep going on and the alarm keeps tripping with differing time intervals.
I get warning messages on the dash of a door open when o drive but cannot work out what door it is? the car locks fine and opens fine but the car will not go to sleep and drains the battery in a couple of days.
can anyone point me to how to determine what door it is? and what to look for..

I would set up my iPhone to take time lapse video of the dash board. I would hope the door ajar will light appropriately. Time lapse only takes 1 pic per second first 10 minutes then 1 every two seconds up to 20. If it just blinks on you might miss it.

You can take video instead, just set the resolution to minimum first so you don't exhaust your memory.
