Old member - new 4.8is
 

Glad to back as a member of the forum at last :D


Purchased a high mileage 2005 4.8is in black sapphire metaillic and black interior.


No fancy spec other than standard and a few issues to sort out including :


Air suspension fault (see other thread)
One rear window wont go down
Fuel gauge only reads 3/4 full even when tank is full
OBC display is stuck in French
One key remote does not work but does start the car
Slight brake squeak
One tyre keeps going flat
Radio reception is slightly fuzzy now and then
Sat nav pixels going.


Im yet to have it fully inspected underneath but im sure the list will be increasing and a full checking over :rolleyes:

Sounds like this one needs a bit of saving, hopefully landed in good hands. Welcome

Hopefully it will end up all working although it needs to be driveable and reliable first !

Congrats, how many miles on it? Can you share some pics?

Over 200,000 :yikes:


Ive not got any pictures at the moment as concentrating on getting it reliable but then ill be refurbing the wheels, removing a few small dents etc :thumbup:
