Yep ...we really only own the X for towing in the summer, so I try to avoid using it as much as possible. Even in snow like we have now, I prefer our Mazda sedan.
Though since my earlier post, I replaced my thermostat and found that the old one was either stuck open or opening too early, keeping the X from getting up to temp. So that could certainly have been making my sludge problem much worse than it should be. I probably should reserve judgment.

That is the main reason for having the X around. We sold the jet boat and jetski, that leave just the motorcycles, and the car hauler for the Lotus or PORSCHE. |
