Is my air bag safe to drive?

Hi guys,

Well, my original 2005 air bags are up for replacement. Last night, after I got home, I thought I popped my driver side rear tire. Nope, tire was fine, but hissing & corner going up & down. I jacked up the car, & tried to diagnose the issue, but I couldn't confirm there was any hole in the bag. Sprayed tons of soap but no bubbles. Well, I put the car down & no more hissing, no more deflation. Anyone have symptoms like this? I jacked the car up last night in the dark, as I wanted to place the order ASAP, & I ended up purchasing Arnott sport rear bags.

I know the car has rubber stoppers to prevent bottoming out, but my real concern is compressor damage, if the car does need to keep leveling. My drive is about 30 mins, 1 way.
Anyway, looking forward to hearing your thoughts, & if anyone has had a similar scenario...

Thanks.

Airbags have been replaced. If anyone is unsure I can confirm, sports bags work for the replacement of comfort bags. They ride pretty great too. In case someone can explain why my bags were leaking & then managed to some how seal themselves (besides of course the awesome "fix itself" German engineering), id be happy to hear. Enjoy your weekends.

I’m sure they didn’t just stop. Most likely the hole was rolled over. Probably the hole sealed somehow while you jacked it up. I’m sure it would have failed again.
