You probably know, but Dinan never made an SC for the N62. The E53 SC from them is the M62. Granted the OE intakes are on the same side, but the drive bits might require moving an SC mount. The Alpina is roots isnt it? right up top?:dunno:
If I'm dreaming, I say make a roots SC. Bolt that bad boy right on top and spin! I remember one of those BMW drive event days where I drove the 135i and the B7. When interviewed with the question about which car was my biggest surprise, the B7 was my choice. The little 135 was *supposed* to be a blast and handle like it did. (God, was it fun) But that big ass 7 tore asphalt and carved turns daring me to squeeze the gas harder. And delivery was soooo smoooth. Drop that thing in the E53 and I'd have to get buried in it. Or maybe just bury me with the SC and a single forged piston alongside.
