Windshield upper trim question

Has anyone replaced this upper trim? Mine is all dry rotted.

Part number 51317182004.

Does it just pull out and press in the new one like on the e39s?

Yes sir. A little difficult with the window in but you can do it with a little finesse.

Noticed it on mine too when i washed it, I am gonna get something akin to weather strip for windows doors and see if I can squeeze it in ....
