new 4.6is owner...
 

Hello, - new e53 owner,
Just bought a nice 4.6is on an impulse!
Always liked the e53's, and have thought lately how nice ones still look good on the road.
Anyway, found a lovely low-mile (40k) car local to me - so barely 2k a year from new! looking forward doing a few longer trips in it!
small weep from the rocker cover gaskets and dash pixels gone, otherwise can't really fault at the moment!
Reading a few of the threads on here, I can expect that to change, but hopefully not too soon!

That's crazy low. I was thinking miles. It's 63% crazier than I thought. Hope you had a spare first child to throw into the trade. Absolutely amazing.

Check Into the chain tensioner. Age as much as miles may affect them and I've come to realize that failure point is what kills the timing chain guides.

haha yeah even if its 40k miles, still amazingly low!

it's 40k miles! will post some pics of the interior.... rear seats look unused! door shuts absolutely spotless!
