EB Trimming O2 sensor before Cat. Converter Bank 1 Check engine code
I’m about 300 miles after a headgasket replacement and the EB trimming code bank 1 pops up. I’m seeing vague sorta fixes for it even one TSB that says it’s a phantom code that disappears eventually. Replaced MAF recently with aftermarket, possible cause? Any other tips?

Reset adaptations and let the DME re-learn the O2 feedback. Also check the graph of the O2 sensors. My pre cat sensors are acting up I'm soon going to replace them. I'm getting lean codes myself.

How do you reset adaptations?

I use foxwell nt510. I also had luck resetting the O2 by unplugging them running the car until SES then turn off the car and clear codes and plug the O2 back in. (that's the method I used to finalky after 5 months to eliminate heater O2 error)

Turns out my Creator scanner can do the reset. Deleted the CEL code and did the reset. 20 miles later, light hasn’t returned. Probably need 200-300 more miles to be certain.

Thanks for the reply Andrew. I have the ISTA BMW software I'll look to see if that's there.
