Surprised!...Not really...But really surprised
So long story short... My readiness for emission where not setting, it didn't matter what I did they would not set. I had no codes on the ECM. So I was really scratching my head about this one, everything seen to be working correct. But then I really looked hard and compared my readings to my wife's X3... I know not the Same engine. But I did notice that my O2 sensors were reading a bit slow, also I had a hesitation mid RPM range. So I purshased the sensor on page B for close to 400, page A wanted close to 600, so after I replace them I was driving a hole new X5...or it felt like that.
It felt like all the lost HP and TQ was back no weird hesitation mid range or strange engine pitch. Soo if your X5 seems tired and not torqui I would suggest O2 sensors. Mine where the OE sensors and at 129k they where defenetly tired. LoL |
