Is it possible to upgrade to lumbar or sports seats with junkyard seats, or is it an entirely different wiring harness?

I upgraded my X to comfort seats from manual seat on the passenger side and power seat on the driver side. My X didn't have heated seats, but I replaced the control module above the AC control and now I have heated seats. The comfort seat also had different driver's setting for individual drivers, but since I'm the only one that drives the X that feature doesn't really come into play.

I installed 2014 sport seats purchased at salvage into our 2016. Be aware that the salvage seat 'brain' may be haunted by the accident that put it in the salvage yard - this can produce the airbag indicator to appear.

I did the e92 sport seat swap into the E53 years ago

Anyone have the lumbar stop working after water leaking over the right rear fuse panel?
