Hey I just found this link. Now I know it’s not a E53, it’s a E39, but it is still a 3.0 M54.

It’s definitely a turbo with no cats and a straight pipe, but it’s still sounds strong!

Mine has stock manifolds and cats, and I’m basically 50 state legal other than California visual (boo hoo). LoL.. Truck passes inspection every time for only $25 bucks.

What do you guys think supercharged or turbocharged?

Let me know your thoughts....

BTW: Turbo does sound sweet! JMHO..

Dude, loose dem manifolds/cats! You will unleash a ferocity of sound of similar caliber. You can always add cats... Your M54 will definitely breath better with that supercharger too!:yikes: The factory manifolds choke it for sure.

Agree, that e39 sounds menacing to say the least!

Quick side topic question.... what size injectors are you running on your setup?

You know, RMS never gave me the specs on the injectors.

I used to run catless back in day, but now whenever inspection time comes it so nice to just slide in get tested and be out!

My Indy at this current time is in my opinion second to none! Bavarian Machine Specialties (BMS) in Houston TX, gave me a honest suggestion that trying to program aftermarket cats would be a waste of time for maybe 10hp. Then there is the possibility that I cannot pass inspection.

Those days of running hot for me are done. I like it to be all legit.

But I agree, long tubes and catless, I’d bet ya she would scream!

In that video my max rev rpm was 4800 rpm. If God willing she comes out with a clean bill of health, I’ll rev that biiixxxh all the way to redline for y’all!
