2005 X5 N62 belt tensioner pulley question

The bearing on my mechanical drive belt tensioner pulley is bad, can I replace just the pulley or do I need to replace the whole tensioner assembly? Looks like the idler pulley is the same as tensioner pulley, thinking I can just use an idler pulley and save $. Any thoughts on this, does anyone know if these pulleys are the same?

N62 has a pair of deflection pulleys. They appear to be the same part.

When I disassembled M62 I think likewise had two and I didn't keep track of which came from where.
