INPA shows low oil pressure error but no dash light
 

My 06 E53 M54 had no oil pressure sensor on the oil filter housing when I bought it. The PO had snipped the wire.

I managed to solder on a new wire to the connector, and replaced the sensor with a new one.

The dash light works on ignition startup test sequence but never indicates a problem.

Yet every now and then when I check INPA it tells me an Oeldruck (Oil Pressure) error code.

Is there another sensor somewhere?
