Popping/Hissing TCU is KILLING me

Tried removing/waiting/replacing fuse 7/73/74 to no avail. Any other advice besides unplugging it entirely? I don’t want the idiot message in my matrix when I start up the car. Huge thank you!

Bump! Should I just pull the plug on it? Any way to avoid the TCU missing error from coming up?

Does the pop/hiss increase and decrease in volume level with the stereo volume control?

No - it’s intense, but doesn’t change with volume. Phone conversations are static-y hence my suspicion that it’s the TCU.
