Body module (GM) is of course coded but VIN doesn't need to match.

Single front door lock problem is most likely in the door itself, door module or lock unit. Front door locks are operated by the individual door module (on the door) which is connected to GM via P-bus connection. Rear door locks are controlled directly by GM.

Are there any write ups on how to reflow the solder on the GM3?

Probably not that exact module but look on YouTube for the basic concept. I will use a butane lighter with the hot air attachment or I’ll use my metcal solder station and manually resolder

I just tried a heat gun. Soldering was next to impossible. There are so many connections and I don’t know where I should be focusing with the soldering iron. I have no clue if it did anything or not. This seems pretty futile.

So far reflowing with the heat gun has worked!!

It’s back to not working and I’m sick of dealing with it. Where can I get a new unit?
