FUSE CONFUSED, where is it?

My CCModule is on the fritts. May have found a new climate module to replace this one on Ebay. But in the meantime, I can't find the blown fuse that used to keep it from working. I don't see the CCM on the fuse panel list. The old X5, E53, 3.0 was fairly clear about this thing. I think I used to replace fuse 7.5 /#40 or #42, but both are fine. So is this thing fried completely?
Also, the other day the rear truck lid won't open, the button doesn't release it. Can't find a fuse for the that either and can't remember where the manual release is.
Any ideas are helpful. Thanks.

Rear hatch manual release is under the plastic cover on the inside hatch trim.

OK, but is it the center plastic large rectangle plate or the very thin top trim with the red plastic reflectors? Do I just pry it off? Screws? Thanks man.

Here's the location as viewed from inside looking at the back glass. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...fc3a33a072.jpg

That's the release for the upper hatch; the lower one is different...

Thanks, only BMW could come up with a more kakamamie , over engineered , back design. BTW, do those power release buttons on the tailgate have a history of failure? Can't seem to find the fuse for that? Top works fine.

Here's the circuit diagram... Looks like Fuse #F60 and #F84 would be worth checking...

Fuse mistake

Wow, can't believe it. Thanks for the great information. Thing is; I had the fuse in the wrong place. No issues at all except the mistake of misplaced fuse. As for that darn CCM still working that out. Odd, all fuses are fine, but nothing, I guess time to find a good used one. Thanks again.
