DSC module remanufacturing - Best company?

Hi guys, I am struggling to find a good working DSC module for my 01 3.0i after I pressure washed the engine bay, ruining my existing module (yes, I am an idiot). I already bought a remanufactured module off Ebay and a junkyard module. Both coded OK but have different issues. The reman appears to have a bad MOSFET for the pre charge pump that was not corrected during remanufacturing - that is being returned for a refund.

In the past, I have had an impossible time getting a good reman. Bosch 5.7 module - I had an e39 m5 and after sending my module to BBA several times and them failing to repair it, I ended up buying a new OE module for almost $600. That fixed the E39 for good.

I would buy a new OE module for the E53 except they are $1300+ now.

Can anyone recommend a remanufacturer for the E53 Bosch 5.7 module whom you have used recently and gotten a working module back from? I am hesitant to try BBA again. Module Masters maybe?

Thanks

Steve

I have an electronics guy over here who swears he can reman. I'll ask for a price etc. and if it's cheap enough maybe you'd want to risk it. I'd send via APO so it shouldn't take long for delivery either. No promises till I check for squinty eyes. (Welcome to lifestyles of Arabia....)[emoji1787]

I appreciate the reply, I hope to find someone who has a proven record of success w/ Bosch 5.7 DSC units. Both BBA and the company I used the other day swore they could fix these and both failed. I have had enough bad luck w/ these 5.7s, I hate them so much.

These are the guys I would use.

I think they have a guarantee and warranty.
