Brake swap from E70..Is it possible

Would anyone know if Rotors front and back from a 2007 E70 4.8 would fit a 2004 E53 4.4? I hava a chance to get a new set for the E70 for very very cheap but am unsure if it will fit. I have a feeling the rotors might be thicker or wider and not clear the caliper..Any thoughts? I figured i would ask the gurus and thank you

Hub center bore on E53 and E70 is different. So that alone tells that they won't fit properly.

My buddy put x5m front brakes and rotors on his 05 4.8is with no problem. Bolted right up

How did he deal with bigger centre bore on front discs? It fits yes, but is only centered with wheel bolts.

E70-E71 ///M front rotors & calipers are confirmed to be a direct swap.

I can confirm this truck has the brakes swapped & it stops fast AS HELL. Seemed to scrub off speed much quicker than my truck, with 4.8is brakes.

Centering rings will fix that problem

I have 2012 X5M rims on with centering rings cause i think the hub is 1mm smaller on the E53. My question is will the E70 rotors fit..I was worried maybe they are too big or thick for the caliper..Any ideas..I am keeping the stock calipers on. Somebody must know

E70 rotors will not fit on E53 calipers. They are different sizes.

Here's a brain teaser for you gentlemen, I bought some used front 6pots from a Range Rover Sport which I understand can be fitted to my 4.6is with blank adaptors and bigger rotors. So here's the question, can I move my 4 pot front calipers and rotors to the rear?

Bolt holes not aligning and having to swap sides are the biggest obstacles.
