First check that drain hole under E-box is open. I would also open and check the E-box itself (where engine and transmission ECUs live) to check there are no signs of water.
By the way are we talking about LHD or RHD vehicle? It would be preferred to talk about left or right side of the vehicle, not just driver or passenger side as it can be either left or right. |
LHD vehicule, no sure where the drain from e box but anyway . i did water test and i cant see the water flowing from the door seal all along the door hinge and its about here when the water comme inside

I recently had a leak in the passenger side. The drain hose in my passenger side A-pillar was kinked. I straightened it and heard water slosh out...But still had a leak. I noticed my window seal was missing in the same area yours is cracked. I replace the whole upper windshield seal with BMW Part # 51317182004.. That seemed to stop the leak for me.
So, Yes, that cracked seal can be a source of a leak. |
