What is this piece? (Found inside ZF5HP24 transmission pan)..

So, I dropped the transmission pan to check the valve body once again to try to figure out 1-2 or 2-1 gear switch delay issues after the transmission rebuild and found this in the pan. What would that be? Would that be the E-brake clutch feed pipe gasket which may explain the 1-2 gear switch issues?
