Steering wheel controls dead. Next to fix.
 

Well I got my alternator gasket fixed, I replaced all the window regulators, oem head unit installed, passenger door panel leather fixed and now the steering wheel clock spring. Got everything done, started up the truck and the steering wheel controls wouldn't work. Then the air bag light went on, so their is a connection issue. Tore apart the steering column and checked all the wiring, good. Checked all fuses, good. Searched this site and it appears the symptoms are inline with the clock spring going bad.

Any pointers before tearing into this repair?

But a used clockspring and replace. Not difficult, but a bit time consuming, I believe
