E53 In Car Entertainment - Mystery Object!!
3 Attachment(s)
Hi Guys
Can anyone identify this box? It's located directly below the CD changer unit in my (European) X5, on the left side in the boot/trunk. I will be fitting a new Android head unit in due course and I want to remove anything thats no longer needed as the new unit has it all; SatNav, DVD, Bluetooth etc but I don't want to remove anything that is still needed. Thanks |
That's oem bluetooth module.

I don't think so...I had to check the bluetooth module a few months ago to get the pairing key and that was located under the plastic panel further down.

Apollogies. So what is the unit I retreived the Bluetooth PIN code from where I had to undo the plastic panel in front of this unit?
|
That’s the Bluetooth “card” that I believe sets pin and enables the module that you are seeing in the rear side panel, that unit I believe is called the (at least mine was” Everest Control Module - think of the piece that you accessed as the key that makes the control module work.
I’m sure someone will clean that up for me if I’m off base [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using Xoutpost.com |
