BC Racing Coilovers - What do I need for install

Hey All - I am swapping out my airbags to bc racing coils (too many issues) and have a couple questions.

1. Do I need any other hardware to make the install happen? I wont be going very low, so I dont believe I will need the adjustable camber arms. Am I missing anything though? Top hats or anything of the sort or can I just bolt them up?

2. I see that there are 2 types of coils offered by BC, the first is extreme and the other I assume is just normal? I would like to stick with the most comfortable ride, so I am assuming I should stay away from the extremes?

Thanks in advance! I will also plan on coding out the suspension or get the appropriate module to get rid of the error codes. Can't wait to get this thing on BAT!

1. No other hardware needed. You could get the paper "gaskets" for the to of the rear shock mount or reuse the ones on the air bags of they are serviceable. I didn't use them though.

2. The standard ones can get harsh enough. I run at a hair (2 clicks I think) on the stiffer side and it is comfortable. Tad stiffer than stock air, but plenty compliant. The extremes must be only good for people who get track use out of their vehicles. I also run at ~1.25" lower than stock if memory serves. I have a thread about the setup on here if you want details.

Thank you!! Also, any particular vendor to go with and purchase from? Unfortunately FCP doesnt have them in stock. Would like to see if I can get them cheaper than 1k.

Unless you find them used... $995 is as good as it gets (good price IMHO). BC vendors are under MAP for their coilovers and can not sell for lower.

I bought from FCP for the lifetime warranty. No other suggestions on where else to get them. Sorry.

They just bolt up. I went with the standard ones. They supposedly come from the factory with the spring preload set, but I would reset it as my fronts were pretty loose for having the preload set. I think they recommend 5mm. That was still pretty loose so I went to 10 mm.

Bought mine from FCP for the lifetime warranty.

I see. I didn't have air bags and I'm glad I didn't after reading of everyone's never ending problems with them.

Won't you have an air suspension inactive warning if you don't code it out?
