Isn't 00 (100) the newest there ever was?

I hate to say it but I actually like the contrast having the green LEDs for the knobs only [emoji3]

For the knobs I installed a set of e90 chromeline ones that are a bit slimmer, which allow the light to illuminate around them nicely. I think these are the ones I used.

Figured I'd open the old one up and play with the ribbon cable and clean it and re-seat it to see that will restore the color. I've read others having good results with this. I just hope it at least still works after reassembling it. Worst case if I get a replacement LCD for the one that came out which is also from an x5 but has red backlighting.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...58bb43a7fa.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ef2b7fc89f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...adef9b83b3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b81731c9bd.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...cbac552989.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...68f73e6364.jpg

Im assuming the software it is showing is from the MK4 I have installed? Im sure I updated it years ago to whatever the latest version was which included the modification of the ///M logo on bootup.

I never paid attention to the eBay seller I purchased the unit from, but it appears he repairs these units also. I am thinking he repaired a range rover unit and potentially swapped the casing when he asked what car I plan to install it in. Either he was not aware of the difference with the range rover backlighting or did not think I would notice or maybe I am just thinking conspiracy? [emoji848]
