As you probably know, that #44 Solenoid (fuel tank breather) valve error relates to the small solenoid that is mounted in a rubber holder under the intake between the CCV and and the oil filter housing. From memory, it has two vac hoses and an electrical connection.

Check all those connections. I had this error recently after a head gasket job. One of the hoses was either dis-oriented and would not click into place or was broken causing a bad seal. I also swapped in a new or used valve. The error went away.

I don't know if that is the source of your mis-fires

I find it interesting that a solenoid valve hanging from a rubber piece only has one wire in the electrical connector. I'm trying to find it in my Bentley wiring diagrams and verify the 3E code I'm getting on the scanner has to do with this valve. I get no voltage to the single wire. The valve operates correctly on the bench with 12 volts applied across the two terminals.
I will also check the "Vacuum Solenoid (ECM controlled)" as found on page 130-15 to verify I didn't omit connecting the electrical plug.

3E code has been cleared.
In spite of what the nice man says on Youtube, all the connections under the intake are not unique.
There are two that are keyed alike, One is 90 degrees and the other is straight.
The 90 degree one has two wires and connects to the solenoid valve. The straight connector has one wire and connects to the sensor just below the oil filter housing.
Thanks to our local LKQ where you can go see a similar X5 and notice the straight connector attached in a different location.
Thanks to those who weigh in with valued input.
Now to determine how clogged my injectors are.
The only codes currently are the misfires on various cylinders not always the same, however.
Anyone know where the fuel trim diagnostics are on the Foxwell scanner?
Their instructions seem to be minimal at best, unless I'm not looking in the right place.

Final update on this thread...
All codes are now cleared.
I sorted out the O2 sensors and the misfire codes went away.
Took a 10 mile drive with everything running smoothly and no codes.
I have a few more more common fixes to perform.
Will be doing fluid changes after a bit.
Thanks for the input. Hopefully this is useful to others.
