Worth THAT if paint isn’t pealing and chain guides are already done. Otherwise, $7-8k by the looks of it.

Even if the guides are done it's still high in my book but I stole my S3 so my view is a little skewed.

Perhaps. I’ve seen enough Estoril paint peeling and rough interiors to recognize that this one could bring $10k from someone obsessed with Estoril blue on an e53. Oh, just me? OK. Never mind, then.

Surprised no one has chimed in on this...

You are only looking for a 4.6IS since you specify Estoril blue.

You get Le Mans blue if you are considering the 4.8IS.

Both nice colors, but very different.

Ive seen that 4.6is in Washington in person. It is extremely rough. its at a crappy car lot where the radio was stolen and they plastidipped the roof black. It has a lot of leaks. If you could get it for like 4-5k and restore it then that would be worth it. Its also been for sale for years as well.

Early 04 build 4.8is could be had in estroil.

Not to mention those custom ordered paint ones...

To each his/her own, definitely. I used to be obsessed with paint and interior color combos. I spent the better part of my adult life lusting after the Deep Purple Metallic Z32 (around 1k units produced worldwide). I finally found one a few years ago, local to me, in great shape. I got it, sat on it for about a year, drove it a handful of times and then sold it (to buy my E53 actually). I have a TT in red (which is the least rare color) which gives me more pleasure just starting it up and feeling the air vibrate in my garage than the purple ever gave me driving it or staring at it after a wash. Like I said, to each his/her own but following my experience I'd take a regular color combo in pristine shape rather than kill myself to get THE color. I do all my own work too for what its worth.

Ha. The pictured was my first obsession (10 good years). I feel like there is a surprising amount of overlap between these two vehicles?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...5af5960440.jpg

There really is, I've noticed at least one other member with a Z32. I think they have a lot in common in the feel, they feel solid, and a bit heavier on their feet but planted.
