HELP! I'm totally confused about what to do with my headlights

All,

I have a 2003 4.6is with prod date of 3/10/03. I have Xenon lights. My drivers side lens has now somehow separated from the projector body. Found out as I took it to a carwash and the lens got a bunch of water vapor inside after I was done.

My quandary is what to do here. I think I'd like to update the look a bit with some angel eyes but all the posts here have me so confused on what I would need to do that I am raising the white flag for help.

Can someone please articulate what my options are?

Thanks everyone...I know it sounds lame but I'm out of my element on this one.

Depo headlights from fishcake321 on ebay. Plug and play for the xenon and all you need to do is connect up the LED AEs however you please. My set were wired to a switched + in the box on the left side of the engine near the firewall. I had them 6 or 7 years and never had a problem and they are still on the car with the new owner. Another plus is they come wired as bi-xenon complete with bulbs.

Another option is to pull nicer looking headlights of a junked E53 which are being sent to junkyards in numbers. Polish them up, seal them and good to go.

I just checked out of curiousity and it doesn't look like that seller is making them anymore.

I bought replacement lamp assemblies via Amazon. I have 01 so it added Halo (though pretty dim only can see at night) but the kit is designed to move over the leveling motor for the hid and they look beautiful.

I just ended up buying new headlights from BMW. Expensive yes but definitely worth it.

There are Depos on ebay and other makes. I just did a general BMW E53 search.

Thanks everyone...My concern was the adaptive headlight motors and aftermarket units not being compatible. You all have helped a ton. Much thanks!
