Yet another air suspestion thread
1 Attachment(s)
I did search around but can't find anything with this same issue....
My air suspension threw the "inactive don't exceed 60kmh" message the other day but then went away only to return and stay on for a few days now. Plugged in my laptop and got the following out of INPA (attached), seems the voltage supply to the RR and FL sensors is the problem. https://photos.app.goo.gl/g9Nj19NTpw3yypmg8 Has anyone else come across this before ? I'm thinking a wiring issue and a short somewhere ? |
Have you physically checked to make sure your ride height sensors didn't get flipped?
The arm can overextend giving implausible readings and since they are nothing but a rheostat they could show wonky voltages... Sent from my SM-A730F using Tapatalk |
Two separate sensors failing at the same time sounds very unlikely. Unfortunately this could be the first symptoms of failed EHC2 module.

They all look good unfortunately. |

I am also worried that is the case, at least I know where to find the module after spending an hour or so inside the boot removing wheels etc and then going to the right spot behind the glove box! |
So a visual on all the height sensors and wiring says they "look" ok.
I tried to remove the plug from the suspect sensors but it doesn't want to come off and I'm concerned the brittle plastic will break. What's the trick to releasing the connectors, its hard for me to see when under the car but it looks like there are some release tags ? |
Yeah the clips on those are a pain. I small flat head screwdriver is your friend. A pick would work as well.

I use an o-ring pick set (more than I'd like to admit) for the mini bails and snap lock type of connectors Sent from my SM-A730F using Tapatalk |
